How do you add notifications to an AI agent?

Give the agent a pager it can call, such as PageHuman: create an account with a passkey, add the app to your Home Screen, turn on notifications, and paste the one connect line the app gives you into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or a terminal. Approve the connection on your phone and the agent can now notify you, ask you questions with buttons, and ask for approval.

Why a signed pager beats a chat webhook

PageHuman shows the agent’s paired name and key fingerprint, not whatever the agent typed. Every agent signs every request with its own key. Your phone sends a signed delivered receipt. An approval nobody answers expires as deny.

Notifications, questions and approvals

A notification pages you. A question gives you buttons to answer. An approval asks for your decision. Your answer goes back to the agent, signed by your device. Risky approvals need Face ID. You can also require Face ID for every approval.

Quiet hours

Plain notifications wait in the inbox during quiet hours. Questions, approvals and time-sensitive pages still come through.

Revoke an agent

You can mute or revoke any agent at any time. Nothing gets in unpaired: an agent you have not approved cannot reach you.
